I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since I first met Rachel and Adrian half a year ago. They made it very clear that the number one thing they wanted on their wedding day was snow. I spent the two weeks before the wedding, checking the weather constantly and keeping my fingers crossed for a beautiful winter day.
The Mountain Top Inn was the perfect backdrop for a winter Vermont wedding and I am so happy and grateful that I got to be part of this special day.

The couple got ready at the Campion cottage. This smaller cottage is perfectly located within walking distance to the main building and just the perfect size for the couple and their wedding party of 8.

Rachel and Adrian both have a wonderful sense of style so it was no surprise for me to find that everything was perfectly coordinated.
The groom wore a beautiful Gianni Feraud Slim Fit Herringbone Suit with interior butterfly detail for their Vermont winter wedding at The Mountain Top Inn. The interior butterfly detail was the perfect touch on this otherwise classic piece.
The groomsmen wore coordinated Gianni Feraud Herringbone vests with the same butterfly detail as the groom.
The boutonnieres were winter elegant with a touch of Vermont rustic and smelled amazing.
Meadows Edge Floral did an amazing job creating all the floral details
Rachel wore a beautiful champagne Watters wedding dress with vinttage lace detail on top and sweetheart neckline . She chose to have her hair and make-up done by her bridesmaids which made for a great bonding experience. I think she looked stunning and I looooved her hair. It was unique and matched her personality perfectly.
The perfect mix of elegant with a touch of Vermont rustic charm.
The touch of evergreen made the bouquet smell extra wintery.
I thought these cozy moose slippers that Rachel wore while getting ready were perfect Vermont.
The baby breath in her hair looked so very romantic. It made me think of snowflakes. I’m not sure if that was the idea behind it but I thought it was special without being too overdone.
You can’t forget your cozy knit mittens!
The bridesmaids all wore coordinating burgundy flannel shirts during getting ready
When you’re getting married in Vermont, you must embrace your Colombia winter boots 🙂
For the first look and before ceremony portraits, these two warm souls had to brave -20F weather and they did it with a big smile on their face
I absolutely loved how Rachel combined different textures so seamlessly. The chunky knit mittens and faux fur jacket complement the flowy romantic wedding dress perfectly.
Isnt’t this winter bouquet gorgeous?!
We walked around the property close to the cottage for some casual portraits and than quickly drove to the stables to get a couple of shots there as well. The whole session was only about 5 minutes long to avoid frost bite (no joke). As much as I wanted to keep taking pictures, I was concerned for everyone’s comfort. I can not believe how relaxed and happy they are!
Because it was so incredibly cold, they had to move the ceremony inside. The Mountain Top Inn has a lovely mezzanine in the main barn with a unbelievable view of the snowy hills.

This is my favorite picture ever! Not because of anything I did, but simply because of the way the are looking at each other…
